The Colour Analysis

My 12 season colour analysis is a highly-specific and science-led model. Together we will discover your skin undertone (warm/cool), aesthetic depth (light-deep) and colour saturation (bright/muted) as well as making observations on eyes, hair and personal contrast levels.

You will leave the analysis session with a curated seasonal colour palette, the knowledge to wear, shop and combine colours and garments and, best of all, ultimate confidence in your natural aesthetic.

    This was probably the best colour analysis consultation I have had bar none, and I have had 2 previous ones which didn’t feel right, and weren’t particularly catered to me and my skin tone.

    Jo was very personable and took the time to actually go through all the seasons and colours from all the seasons to find my perfect palette rather than making snap judgements based on my skin, eye and hair colour. If you are a woman of colour who needs a proper colour analysis, go see Jo! This consultation was well worth the 2+ hours travel in each direction, and I’m usually all about convenience.

    Seriously, go see Jo - it’s worth the time and effort. I now have a good idea of what items in my wardrobe work for me, and additional ideas for how to add more colour and variety that I hadn’t even considered before!

  • Confessed Colour Skeptic

    I was given a session with Jo as a present. I was a bit sceptical, but from the moment I stepped into Jo’s house I felt at home and she explained every step of the process to me. By the time we were finished I was spotting the colours that were working myself and could see the differences in shades.

    Now I feel like I have so much more confidence about picking out outfits for special occasions, new make up or even changing the shades in my hair. It’s amazing how small changes, using items I already have in my wardrobe, can give me more confidence with my outfits.

    Really enjoyed having my colours done with Jo.

    One thing that pleasantly surprised me, was how I started to think of my work wardrobe and my professional branding. While I'm happy to have fun with all colours in my personal life (and am generally drawn to my palate!!) It was super interesting to see how using the correct colour in a professional context, can give me an unexpected lift / appearance, which is always needed as a mum with young kids. I love a good shortcut and this could be one!

  • It just shows you the value in face to face draping with someone who knows what they are doing.

    From the moment I met Jo she was really welcoming and put me completely at ease (and she makes a great cup of tea!). Her passion and knowledge really shone through. I feel enlightened coming away. My season (soft summer) was not what I, apps or others predicted but makes so much sense to me now. It just shows you the value in face to face draping with someone who knows what they are doing.

    Jo went through everything with me in a a way that was easy to understand and I never once felt rushed, persuaded or pressured; everything just made sense. I have come away with practical and achievable steps to take to allow my true self to shine.

    I actually think this has been a long term investment not only in myself but also financially as I will no longer be buying things that I wear once and never again because I saw a photo of me in it and decided I didn’t like it. Instead I can make purchases that will be timeless and always work for me without the need for camera filters or bucket loads of makeup.

    Overall I have loved the experience and I’m so excited to go through my overflowing wardrobe!

I run a relaxed, informal setting to make sure that you get a healthy dose of R&R at the same time as a colour confidence boost.

A visit to the farmhouse isn’t quickly forgotten. Your personal colour consultation will be held in this beauty of a Victorian farmhouse, hidden away in acres of natural countryside which we share with the local roe deer herd.
